Installation

  • Upgrade MindManager to version 9.2.504 or higher (if you are using version 9). People with earlier version have reported an "Unable to load the "Map2Excel.Connect" Add-In" error.
  • Close MindManager before running installation. Make sure its not running in background
  • Download and install the add-in
  • At this stage the "beta" version is usually has the most features and the least bugs, but occasionally new ones crop up. In those cases, users who don't have earlier versions in their download folder can fall back to the "stable" versions below. If you fall back to one of these, you will need to manually uninstall the beta version using add/remove programs.

For information on the latest changes, see the Map2Excel Revision History.

Known Issues

If a topic has a double quote in it, the program will throw an error and not complete the export.

This new installation also provides Map2Table and Map2Outline. Map2table converts a three layer map branch into a html table with the 3rd layer entries retaining their hyperlinks. Map2Outline converts selected portion of map to an html file outline with hyperlinks back to topics or their hyperlinks.
